Passport Renewal Requirements
We kindly ask our clients to send the following documents to our office:
Required documents
Old passport;
Two recent passport photos;
Citizenship Certificate*;
Birth Certificate*;
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from St. Kitts & Nevis**.
Required for special situations
Marriage Certificate*, if the client wants to change their surname to the one of her/his spouse;
Decree absolute, if the client wants to revert to her/his maiden name;
Police report and affidavit in that case that the passport has been stolen or lost.
Important
* Documents marked with a * need to be certified by a notary public and shall bear an apostille. The client may also send original documents to Citizen Lane and we will then organize the duly certified copies.
** The application of the Police Clearance Certificate will be organized in the process by our office for the client. Fees are included in our service charge.
All documents must be in English or accompanied by a duly certified translation (including apostille). If required, translations can be arranged by our office (third party fees apply).
Fast-Track Priority Passport Renewal Service
The standard service of the passport renewal process has a processing time of 2-3 months. For a minor surcharge, we are able to offer a priority (fast-track) service with a processing time of 2-3 weeks. The indicated processing times include shipping times with DHL/FedEx. Our fees include all legal fees, government fees, passport fees, police clearance certificate fees, bank fees.
