The island nation of Malta is located in the center of the Mediterranean sea, 93 km south of Sicily and 288 km north of Africa. The archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo, and Comino with a total population of over 450,000 inhabitants. Malta is the largest of the Maltese islands and is the cultural, commercial, and administrative center.

The country is known for its sunny climate, crystal clear seas, friendly natives, and rich history and culture. Its official languages are Maltese and English, however many of the natives also understand Italian and French due to their education system.
